Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and committed Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Romsey. We have a range of roles available—from day-to-day supply to long-term placements—ideal for those looking to gain experience, support children’s development, and become a valued part of a school community.
Your Role Will Involve:

Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
-
Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN)

Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays

Supporting pupils’ academic progress and emotional well-being
We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children in a school, childcare or community setting
-
A caring, proactive, and patient approach
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A willingness to learn and support children of varying needs and abilities
-
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through us)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
