Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Basingstoke
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: From £13.75 per hour
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time or part-time (term-time only)

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s education? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Basingstoke area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to their academic and personal development. Whether you’re experienced in education or looking to get started, we want to hear from you.
The Role:

Supporting children across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on the school’s needs
-
Providing one-to-one or small group interventions
-
Assisting the class teacher with daily tasks and classroom organisation

Helping create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:

A caring, reliable, and proactive attitude
-
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (paid or voluntary)
-
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
