Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning in a primary school setting?
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in a range of primary schools across Basingstoke. Whether you’re looking for flexible supply work, part-time hours, or a long-term placement, we have roles to suit your availability and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Work one-to-one with pupils or with small groups, including those with additional needs

  • Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom environment

  • Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (paid or voluntary) in schools, care, or community settings

  • A proactive, patient, and nurturing attitude

  • Confidence to support children with different learning styles and abilities

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
