Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Romsey
Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: From £13.75 per hour
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time or part-time (term-time only)

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the Romsey area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

The Role:

Supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and school need
-
Working 1:1 with children who require additional support or assisting in small groups

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
-
A patient, caring and proactive approach to working with children
-
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (paid or voluntary)
-
A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
-
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
