Our client secondary school in Salford is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their support department, assisting pupils aged 11-16 with varying levels of learning ability.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades. To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or transferable experience to work.

  • Immediate Start
  • Full-time Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting pupils across KS3 and GCSE
  • Earn up between £1500 - £1700 per month - depending on experience

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor pupils progress and report to senior members of staff
  • Supporting pupils who require additional support due to learning needs
  • Work alongside other Teaching Assistants and senior leader
  • Receive support and training to build further experience working within education

Our client school is based in Salford and is easily accessible via the M61, M62, A580 and A57 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Prestwich, Cheetham Hill and Swinton

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
