ASC Teaching Assistant – Sale (M33)

Teaching Personnel are proud to offer a Teaching Assistant position in Sale.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support two individuals with ASC in a Secondary SEN school in Sale.

About the role:

  • £80+ per day through PAYE (No umbrella company or agency fees),
  • Weekly pay on timesheets through Teaching Personnel,
  • SEN Secondary School located in the Sale area (M33),
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm approx.
  • ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel.

The incoming Teaching Assistant with be working with these pupils as they undergo their GCSEs on a 2:1 basis. This will involve supporting these pupils with their day-to-day, providing supplementary support with work when necessary. These pupils are higher-ability so the incoming Teaching Assistant must be comfortable with GCSE material.

Both pupils have an EHCP, prioritising their social, academic and emotional development. While these pupils do have a keenness to learn, they can sometimes get frustrated in class. Therefore, the incoming Teaching Assistant must be comfortable managing behavioural outbursts.

These pupils work within a small, higher-ability class with students with similar needs to their own. The incoming Teaching Assistant will be working alongside the class teacher and two other SEN Teaching Assistants to ensure a cohesive and pleasant learning environment, maximising individual progress.

This role begins immediately on a temp to perm basis. After a successful trial period paid through Teaching Personnel, the incoming Teaching Assistant will move onto a permanent school contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
