Teaching Assistant

The Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist students with their learning, and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students individually and in small groups to enhance learning
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Provide tailored support for students with additional needs
- Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
