Do you have a passion for supporting young people who need someone to believe in them?

At TP-Tutors, we're looking for dedicated In-Person Mentors to work one-to-one with children and young people across Poole and Surrounding areas.

Many of the students we support face challenges that make mainstream education difficult. They may have Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, or have experienced long periods out of education.

As a mentor, you'll be more than a positive role model—you'll be someone who listens, encourages and helps young people rebuild confidence, develop life skills and re-engage with learning.

What does the role involve?

✔ Building strong, trusting relationships with young people.
✔ Providing one-to-one mentoring in the home or community.
✔ Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience.
✔ Encouraging positive routines, independence and personal growth.
✔ Working closely with families and the TP-Tutors team to provide consistent support.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with children or young people.
• Are patient, understanding and able to build positive relationships.
• Have experience supporting SEN or SEMH (or a genuine interest in this area).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
