Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience or a keen interest in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A Partington Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive team. The rle will be ASAP start on a full time basis.

About the Role:

The school are seeking a caring and committed individual to:

• Provide tailored support to children with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
• Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties, including preparing resources and supporting group activities.
• Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

What the school are Looking For:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEN setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential – training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
