Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join several welcoming and inclusive SEN schools on the Manchester/Salford border this September.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in supportive school environments, helping students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across KS3 and KS4

Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to support tailored learning plans
-
Help manage behaviour and encourage engagement in lessons
-
Support personal care or mobility needs if required (training can be provided)
What We're Looking For:
-
Previous experience working in an SEN or school setting is preferred
-
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable individuals with a genuine desire to support students
-
A team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude
-
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
- Full Time (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
