We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a number of friendly, inclusive primary schools on the Isle of Portland. These schools are seeking passionate, reliable individuals who are eager to support learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This is an ideal opportunity for:

• Experienced Teaching Assistants
• Graduates exploring a career in education
• Individuals from childcare, coaching or youth work backgrounds

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils in class under the direction of the teacher
• Providing 1:1 or small group support for targeted learning
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping children with SEND or additional learning needs
• Assisting with classroom setup and resources

You’ll Need To Have:

✔ Experience working with children (formally or informally)
✔ A friendly, proactive, and supportive nature
✔ Willingness to get involved in all areas of school life
✔ DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
✔ Availability for at least 3 days a week (for supply work)
