Salary: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Bridport, who are seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the new academic year.

Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the classroom teacher and helping pupils reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. Positions are available in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with options to work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs or in a general classroom support role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
• Helping to prepare learning materials and resources
• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

We are looking for:

• Experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)
• A caring and patient approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and undertake training (e.g., safeguarding)
• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
