Teaching Personnel is working closely with primary schools across the Dorchester area to recruit passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants for a range of roles starting ASAP and in the new academic year.
Whether you're an experienced TA, a recent graduate considering a career in education, or someone with a background in childcare or youth work – we’d love to hear from you!
The role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in class under the guidance of the teacher
- Work 1:1 with students who need additional help
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
- Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) if required
What we’re looking for:
✅ Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal)
✅ A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
✅ Good communication and teamwork skills
✅ A willingness to learn and take initiative
✅ A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
