Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools in Wimborne
Location: Wimborne, Dorset
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Pay: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Long-term

Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint caring and committed Teaching Assistants to work in a number of fantastic primary schools in the Wimborne area.
Whether you're an experienced TA, a recent graduate, or someone with transferable skills from childcare, youth work, or similar fields—we want to hear from you!
️ What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
-
Supporting individual pupils or small groups with targeted interventions
-
Helping children with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and building pupil confidence
-
Preparing classroom resources and helping maintain a welcoming learning space

Experience with children or young people (voluntary or paid)

A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach

Excellent communication and team skills

A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

Commitment to the wellbeing and development of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
