Salary: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience and role type)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for new Teaching Assistant opportunities across several welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Bridport.

These roles are ideal for individuals looking to start or continue a rewarding career in education—whether you're experienced, newly qualified, or exploring a career change.

About the Role:

We are looking for General Classroom TAs, 1:1 SEN Support Assistants, and Small Group Intervention TAs to support pupils in EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Successful candidates will work closely with class teachers and SENDCos to deliver tailored support and help pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting learning in the classroom under the direction of the teacher
• Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions
• Helping with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
• Supporting children with additional needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language)
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, etc.)
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• A willingness to complete relevant training (provided by Teaching Personnel)
• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
