A warm and welcoming primary school in Didsbury is working with Teaching Personnel to appoint a proactive, caring, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from March.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting the class teacher and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and follow-up activities
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
• Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for education
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – highly desirable
