End Date: Wednesday 21st July 2027 with the view to move onto a permanent contract

Location: Bolton – BL2

Contract: Full‑time (8.30am-3.30pm)

A warm, inclusive, and community‑centred primary school in the Bolton (BL2) area is working closely with Teaching Personnel to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide high‑quality classroom support across EYFS and KS1.

This full‑time position begins September 2026 and will run for the full academic year, with opportunities for continuation into the next academic year.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring pupils receive engaging, consistent, and well‑supported learning. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing high‑quality support across EYFS-KS1 classrooms (EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2)

- Leading small groups and delivering focused interventions

- Receive training for specific interventions within the school

- Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment

- Supporting class teachers with lesson delivery and adapted activities

- Providing occasional classroom cover where required

- Differentiating work to meet the needs of pupils with varying learning abilities

- Working collaboratively with the teaching teams and following school expectations

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

- Holds a Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

- Has experience supporting learning across all Key Stage environments

- Can confidently support groups and individuals

- Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to pupil progress

- Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills

- Is nurturing, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education

- Shows resilience and a positive, solution‑focused attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
