Teaching Assistant
Job description
A beautiful school in Crawley is looking for a member of staff for their nursery. We have a child focused team who really care about the well-being and development of their key children. This full time (40 hours per week) role. You will be responsible for the daily care and development of children. The Nursery is open term time, and the Nursery start and finish times support the school day as many of our parents have siblings in both nursery and the main school. We provide a safe and secure setting in which children have access to a vibrant and stimulating indoor and outdoor area. We encourage children to develop their skills and independence through play-based learning.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and caring Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant to join our friendly and supportive nursery team.
You will play a central role in the children’s development and welfare and be a key role in supporting the Nursery Lead.

- Someone with high expectations who is committed to raising the achievement of all children
- Level 2 or 3 in childcare qualification
- Child only enhanced DBS on the update service
- The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
- Able to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our children and support them in becoming lifelong learners
- An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness
- A positive, open-minded professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
