About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, working closely with teachers and students to ensure every learner feels supported and valued. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and progress in learning
  • Supporting students with their academic and personal development

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to drive due to the school’s rural location
  • A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young learners
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to making a positive impact every day
