1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Christchurch

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Christchurch.

This Christchurch school prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting a pupil with SEN, helping them build confidence and stay engaged in their learning.


The Role

  • Location: Primary school in Christchurch
  • Pay: £14.30 per hour
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and general learning support

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of two years’ employment history
  • Experience working with children or in education (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • A Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
