Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth and Surrounding Areas

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team, working across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, including Poole, Christchurch, and Ringwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored support, encouraging engagement, and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
  • Support students with additional needs, ensuring inclusion at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • A background in education, childcare, or care work
  • A patient, proactive, and committed approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
