Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? A warm and inclusive primary school in Irlam is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from January 2026.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with class teachers to support high-quality lesson delivery across the curriculum. You’ll provide targeted assistance to individual pupils and small groups, helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging, creative lessons and maintaining a focused classroom environment
• Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups during lessons and intervention sessions
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages learning and wellbeing
• Support pupils’ emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement
• Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and administrative tasks
• Lead targeted interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
• Maintain strong communication with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
