This is a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school that champions creativity, collaboration, and high standards. As HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting learning across the curriculum, leading small group sessions, and stepping in for whole-class teaching when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of lessons across multiple year groups
- Lead targeted group interventions and whole-class sessions when required
- Assist in tracking pupil progress and providing feedback
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs
✅ What We’re Looking For
- HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
⭐ Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. autism, dyslexia, speech and language needs)
- Confidence using educational technology to enhance learning
- A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to varied classroom situations
