A welcoming and supportive primary school in Cheetham is partnering with Teaching Personnel to recruit a proactive, caring, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small-group support
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and follow-up activities
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom
• Supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEND and EAL
• Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to smooth classroom management
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and genuine passion for education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
