Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistant - Full time

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Behaviour Mentors within a specialist SEN school for pupils aged 4-19 years based in Ascot.

This school provides 1:1 support for individuals who face complex learning and behavioural difficulties such as Verbal and non verbal Autism, ADHD and GDD. An ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a similar environment; however personal experience and an enthusiasm for children will also be considered!

Your role in this position would be to support SEN pupils with their learning and to encourage engagement in social activities! An ideal Behaviour mentor would show passion for supporting children, patient and would have excellent communication skills.

What do I need to fill this position?

  • Enthusiasm and a positive approach to new opportunities
  • Personal or professional experience with SEN children
  • Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Any SENCO qualification is ideal but not essential!

Teaching Personnel can offer an exciting and rewarding opportunity that provides competitive day rates, constant work available and ongoing support with your own specialist consultant!

The hours of this role require the candidate to be available between the hours of 8:30-3:30 and position would be considered on day-to-day, short term and long term options.

The day rate for this position is £60/£70 and is paid on a weekly basis.
