Teaching Assistant for EYFS

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a caring, child centred individual with a passion to make a difference to the learning of young children. One of our client schools based in the rural area of Durham are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to work within their Reception and KS1 classes on a full time basis. The role will start as soon as possible, till May half term, potentially till summer if funding is extended.

The candidate we are looking for must be flexible, experienced in working with children from 0-5 and are either level 2 or level 3 qualified. You must have experience with Letters and Sounds Phonics and be confident with the EYFS curriculum and also have a nurturing, child-centred approach.

In order to be considered for this position:

  • Hold TA Qualification or be working towards one
  • Experience working in a Primary School or Nursery
  • Some SEN support or knowledge
  • Available for full time work
