Teacher required in Preston Behavioural Unit!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based Behavioural Unit who are seeking a Teacher to work for the full summer term, if not beyond, as a Science Teacher.

The School is based on the outskirts of Preston and it caters for KS3/4 pupils with behavioural difficulties and SEMH Difficulties. Many of the pupils in School have Anxiety or/and Autism and can often be fairly difficult to manage in their behaviours. The School are seeking a candidate on a full time basis from after the Easter holidays for the full summer term as a minimum.

The candidate must be a qualified Teacher, ideally with a Science specialism or the ability to deliver Science to KS3/4 pupils. The candidate must be hard working and have experience working with pupils who have SEN or display challenging behaviours. The candidate will ideally have experience working with pupils who are NOT in mainstream education.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £90-130 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
