Teacher required in Chorley SEN School

Are you a qualified Teacher with experience working with pupils who have special educational needs?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based SEN School which provides education for pupils with a range of needs including PMLD, Autism, ADHD and SEMH Difficulties. The School only provides education for around 20 pupils and class sizes are generally under 5 pupils per class which means that each pupil can have an individual learning plan.

The School is based between the M61 and M65 motorway and ideally the candidate will drive as it is not the easiest route by public transport. The School hours are 8.30am - 3.45pm and candidates must be willing to provide at least 2 lunch duties a week. The candidate will be expected to deliver a range of subjects and the pupils ages range from 8 - 18 years old, therefore you will be delivering over KS2/3/4, however, many pupils are learning at a slightly lower level.

The candidate must be hard working and have experience supporting pupils with SEN, the candidate must be willing to work with pupils who have learning difficulties and can often display challenging behaviours. The candidates will ideally be Team Teach trained but this isn't essential.
