Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Behavioural Unit in the Burnley area who are looking to appoint a Teacher for the rest of the academic year. You will be expected to deliver a range of lessons to pupils across KS3/4 and candidates must be willing to deliver a range of subjects to pupils who often struggle to engage in lessons. The pupils in this School will display challenging behaviours and often have a range of additional learning needs including; Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and ODD. Candidates applying for this role must be a qualified Teacher and must have experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The role will be full time and candidates will be expected to start within the next 4 weeks and therefore candidates must be available to start within the next month. The role will require you to lead a number of subjects and work closely with Teaching Assistants to manage behaviour in class.

The School is based centrally in Burnley and is accessible via public transport and has plenty of on site parking. The School are hoping to meet candidates within the next 2 weeks.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
