Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Science looking for a new temporary opportunity?
Teaching Personnel are looking for a skilled, passionate and engaging individual to work full-time for a Dorset based Secondary School from April 2021 until the end of the academic year.
Our partner school are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join a high performing department who educate and support students to achieve and exceed their academic potential.
The fitting individual will have experience in teaching students of all abilities and will demonstrate a high level of passion within the science sector.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for general Science teaching at KS3 and 4
- You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to mixed ability students
- A strong knowledge of each Science
- The successful candidate will be an integral part of the future success of the department and the school more widely
- Applications are welcome from NQTs as well as experienced teachers
About the successful candidate:
- Be educated to at least Degree level, with Qualified Teacher Status or comparative Overseas Teacher Training
- Have recent experience of UK curriculum and relevant exam boards
- Strives for excellence and works admirably as part of a team
- Be an inspiring educator, enthusiastic about science, in particular Chemistry, Biology & Physics
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficient with IT systems and confident with technology
- Motivated, organised and can work collaboratively
- The ability to demonstrate commitment to the school and department and have the ability to make a considerable contribution
- Enjoys industry leading CPD and aspires to develop and upskill
