Teacher of Maths, Scarborough

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Client College in Scarborough, to appoint an experienced, qualified Teacher of Maths. The College are looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join their Mathematics Department, with a view of a permanent position for the ideal Teacher.

The College is part of an Outstanding Group of College and alternative provisions, who provide Further and Higher Education, so you must be able to provide a record of having raised attainment at GCSE or A-Level standard. Although the College are looking for experienced Teachers of Maths, those of all experiences are welcome to apply.

The requirements for this post are:

  • You must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status, or Overseas equivalent
  • Have your subject specialism as Mathematics
  • Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential, specifically those with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Be able to build a trusting relationship with students
  • Have the ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
  • Ideally have experience of working with SEMH, MLD and Autism
