Teacher of Mathematics required in North Yorkshire to start in January

**Full time position, Key stage 3 and 4**

**Large Secondary School**

**Daily pay rates of GBP120-GBP180**

Teaching Personnel have an opening for a Maths teacher within a large secondary school located in North Yorkshire. The school will require the Maths teacher to work with a variety of ages varying from Key stage 3 and Key stage 4. This will be a full time position due to start in January 2020 for the successful candidate. It is preferable that you have classroom experience or experience within a similar role as students will be sitting extremely important examinations at the end of the year. The role will be temporary with the outlook to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate:

  • Actively instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students within the classroom and help students prepare for their examinations at the end of the year
  • Teach Mathematics to Key stage 3 and Key stage 4
  • Take into account the differing ability lessons of students and differentiate work accordingly
  • Encourage students to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress against targets
  • Deal with inappropriate behaviour effectively according to the school behaviour policy
