Food Technology Teacher – Darlington

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Food Technology teacher to join a large secondary school in Darlington who can teach KS3-KS4. The role will be to start in January at an Ofsted “Good” school with excellent transport links. If successful, you will be required to teach Food Technology using the AQA syllabus however it is not essential that you have experience with this syllabus. The position will be running from January right up until July with the possibility of running until Christmas 2020.

Highlights of this Food Technology and Nutrition position:

**Pay will be in line with pay scale, following the new scales: GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum

** Darlington based secondary school with excellent transport links

**Applications encouraged from Food Technology teachers of any experience level including NQTs

**Teach within a highly supportive DT department and a school which fosters a collaborative and positive culture

This school is one where staff are happy to be part of a cohesive and family orientated team. The school are therefore looking for a Food Technology teacher that will hit the ground running, quickly becoming a part of the teaching team and willing to fully immerse themselves within the Design Technology department. Teaching up to GCSE should be something you are interested in, ensuring that students at this school achieve above and beyond given their engaged nature.
