As the SEN Recruitment Consultant, I am looking for Qualified Teachers of English to deiver intervention and tuition to students either excluded, or unable to access mainstream education.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised intervention on a 1:1 basis. You will be working within an OFSTED graded 'Good' School with a very supportive Tuition Co-Ordinator. The School provides education for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. With part time and full time working hours available, we can work alongside your availability!
As the Ideal Candidate
You must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching English through to GCSE standard.The position will involve the teaching of English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will need to have the ability to adapt lessons according to individual needs and learning abilities.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a successful track record of working with learners with additional needs, mainly SEMH, MLD, ASC and Behaviour and those with experience of leading literacy improvement initiatives.
