We are working on behalf of leading independent day school for boys aged 11 - 16 and a co-educational Sixth Form. The School is located on a beautiful 46 acre campus in the village of Sonning, just outside Reading, overlooking the river Thames. The site is easily accessible from the South Oxfordshire and Maidenhead areas as well.

An enthusiastic and inspiring Economics teacher with outstanding subject knowledge is required from September 2019 within this popular and successful department. You will be able to teach the Edexcel A level syllabus in Economics. An ability to teach A Level Business will be an advantage.

Economics attracts a mixed ability range, but results in the department are excellent. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the co-curricular offerings of the department and the wider life of the School, to which your energy, warmth and pastoral instincts will lend themselves.


You will hold a relevant honours degree (preferably in Economics).
