Full time Teacher of Chemistry required for an Ofsted rated 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features Faith Secondary school within the Bury LEA.

Our client Secondary school based in the heart of Bury town centre has identified a gap within their Science faculty and wish to appoint a Teacher of Chemistry. Due to a restructure of responsibilities within the Science department, the school require a Teacher of Chemistry on a full time temporary basis for the full academic year, commencing in September 2018.

• Full time Teacher of Chemistry required for a Bury based Faith school.
• September 2018 start. Initially on a temporary basis for the full academic year with the opportunity to progress on to a permanent post
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS £22,917 - £38,633 *Experience dependent.

This large Secondary school based in Bury has just over 1000 pupils on roll, aged 11-16. The school has consistently received positive Ofsted ratings and continue to move forward under the guidance of its Senior Leadership Team.

The incoming Teacher of Chemistry can expect to join a supportive staff team, in a department enjoyed by pupils across the board.

You will be expected to;

• Plan, prepare and monitor class work reporting back to Senior Leadership accordingly.
• Experience working within the Chemistry curriculum at Key Stage 3-4 is essential and any additional experience will be highly beneficial.
• Manage behaviour in accordance to the school behaviour policies.
• Promote a growth mind set amongst all young people in order to raise attainment.
