Catholic Burnley Primary School
Full time school hours
Predominately working across KS1 and possibly KS2
A temp to perm opportunity has arisen in a Burnley Primary School. The role is to work as a TA3 from 0900-1515, five days a week for the entirety of the academic year, until March 2020. The Head teacher is seeking a qualified Level 3 TA who has a track record of working alongside children with SEN and low level learning. She is keen to place the appointed teaching assistant across the KS1 and possibly KS2. It is a necessity that you have experience in KS1 and preferable that you have KS2 experience.
The School is currently judged as Good by OFSTED and does uphold the Catholic faith and Curriculum closely. It is not a necessity that you are Catholic, but there would be the expectation that you could uphold the Christian faith. As mentioned, the school is graded as Good across all areas, and this included Teaching and Learning and Behaviour. It is therefore important that you have excellent behaviour management and can improve standards of academic development in class.
The role is to start from the 4th of March and run until March 2020. There may also be an opportunity to add additional hours to your work day through welfare cover.
If you have the appropriate qualifications and experience, then do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 01772 842155 or email your most recent experience.
The school are keen to appoint in mid June and it is important that you are fully registered with Teaching Personnel in order to be put forward for the above role
