Our Secondary Branch here at Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors & support staff to work within Challenging behaviour units and a mainstream setting. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in managing challenging behaviour whilst looking at the psychology behind behaviour.

The roles are to start ASAP and run up until the summer term! You will need an enhanced DBS and to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (assistance provided)

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for full or part time work! There are two roles that we are recruiting for.

If you hold experience working with children or young people and want take the next step in building a career in an exciting and rewarding area of education or are you a Psychology graduate who is looking for extra experience in order to aid future PHD applications. This is the job for you!

Our client schools span over Bridgend, Cardiff, RCT, Newport and The Vale of Glamorgan and require full time, long term commitment (term time only) and in turn offer supportive environments with continued professional development and the opportunity to go permanent in many instances.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
