Teaching Personnel currently have a large base of client Primary schools located in and around the South Manchester region that require supply teachers to work on a flexible basis from when schools return to full capacity (April 2021 or sooner).

Due to the high demand for supply teachers moving into the spring term, Teaching Personnel are in the process of recruiting ahead of the rush. Due to various cover needs within our client Primary schools (including; sickness, course cover, PPA) this an ideal opportunity to work at a variety of schools, without the pressures of planning and marking.

As a supply teacher you will be required to support local schools to yourself by covering a range of lessons from the current KS1 and KS2 curriculum with pre-set work.

If you are a qualified teacher (holding QTS) with secondary school experience and looking for a flexible supply teacher role with no additional responsibilities then this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

  • Guaranteed supply teacher work across a range of Primary schools within the South Manchester region
  • Full time and part time flexible supply work available to newly qualified and experienced teachers
  • No planning or marking responsibilities involved
  • Earn up to GBP600 per week

Teaching Personnel have clients across the whole of Greater Manchester including; Manchester, Tameside, Stockport, Salford, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham and Wigan. Any supply teachers interested in gaining regular work in the New Year will have the opportunity to work in various schools ranging from inner city secondary schools to Outstanding Roman Catholic schools.

Whether you are a newly qualified or experienced teacher looking to network in a number of new schools as a supply teacher, we are able to provide you with regular daily/weekly work. Whether you are looking for 2 or 5 days flexible work a week we would like to hear from you. Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport as sometimes we may call you on the morning of work at short notice. We also have a number of pre-planned absences where we will be able to provide you with advanced notice of work allowing you plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to;

-          Hold a PGCE (11-16 or further education accepted)

-          Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different schools behaviour policies

-          Be prepared to cover a range of subjects including your subject specialism

-          Hold a eligible DBS which is registered with the update service (or be willing to process one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
