Supply Teachers Required – Salford Secondary Schools
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible
Salary: £120 – £150 per day (dependent on experience and school)
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Supply Teachers to support several secondary schools across Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are passionate about education and looking for flexible work while making a positive impact on students’ learning.
Role Overview
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons during short-term teacher absences. Your key duties will include:
Delivering engaging lessons across your subject specialism or a range of subjects
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Providing feedback on student progress where required
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
Ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in secondary schools (UK experience desirable)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A proactive, professional approach to supporting learning
An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
