Geography Teacher – Full-Time | Salford | September 2026 Start
Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Key Stages: 3 & GCSE (Ages 11–16)
We are partnering with a large, high-performing secondary school in Salford seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers to work within a supportive department focused on raising attainment and pupil progress.
The Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessment
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities/Geography department to maintain high teaching standards
- Contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Geography up to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching
- Passion for improving outcomes for all learners
