Secondary School Geography Teacher
An exciting opportunity is available for a fully qualified Geography Teacher to join a supportive and well-established secondary school in Trafford, Manchester from September 2026. This is a full-time position, ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering engaging and high-quality geography lessons.
You will join a collaborative Humanities team that values strong subject expertise, inclusive teaching approaches, and consistently high expectations for learners.

Salary: Matched to your level on the Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school activities
- Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree or specialism in Geography
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- A commitment to pupil progress and high educational standards
- The ability to commute to or be based in Trafford, Manchester
