Job Title: Supply Teacher

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and safe learning environment
• Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their learning objectives
• Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to teaching and learning

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Prior experience working as a teacher in a classroom setting is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and teaching standards
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience teaching in a variety of school settings
• Additional subject-specific qualifications or training

Working Conditions:

• Work in various schools in the North West England area
• Full-time hours with potential for flexibility in scheduling
• Interaction with students, school staff, and parents/guardians
• Potential for travel between different school locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
