SUPPLY TEACHERS NEEDED - Guildford

Have you ever considered teaching children with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching personnel are looking for 2 supply teachers to cover for an SEN school based in Guildford on a weekly basis! This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work with fantastic children who have various special needs such as Autism, ADHD, Global Delay and physical disabilities.

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking for a flexible position that they can balance with their other commitments! The role is term time only and offers very competitive day rates.

Your role as a supply teacher will involve...

  • Working along side children of various abilities and who have various types of needs
  • Providing excellent 1:1 support with the help of teaching assistants
  • Monitoring pupil progress and reporting this at the end of the day
  • Maintaining the same standard of care and education to pupils as expected

You will not need to prepare resources and the role will be very varied and every day will be different! We need a reliable individual who is open to new opportunities and has an enthusiasm for teaching.

The right candidate will need...

  • Ideally a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - If not we can look at a cover supervisor role
  • A passion for education and interest in supporting pupils
  • Personal or professional experience with children or SEN
  • The right attitude towards young people who experience SEN
  • A drivers licence and access to a vehicle
  • A DBS

The day rate for this position is £120-£150 depending on experience.
