Teaching Personnel work in Partnership with School across South Wales and we are currently looking for confident and creative sports coaches that are able to motivate and engage with children in secondary schools!

As a coach and teaching assistant you can become a role model for children of all ages across the school. For the younger Pupils the transition from Primary to Secondary school at this time of year can often be daunting and the pupils will need to some extra encouragement. The older pupils within the school will be mixed abilities and may need guidance through exams whether they looking for some extra guidance with exams or some behavioural support to aid with inclusion.

Here at Teaching Personnel, in the past we have found that Sports Coaches/graduates have worked really well in the role of Teaching Assistant. Coaches will often have the transferable skills that will give you a great advantage in a classroom setting. If you feel you can use your sporting background to mentor the pupils that you work with, this role may be of interest to you.

Your role:

-Utilise your Coaching skills in a classroom setting

-Support Teacher within the classroom

-Possibilities to help out with School Sports Teams

-Keep pupils engaged and motivated

-Working in small groups and 1 to 1
