• Start date: November 2023

• Pay rate: £12 - £13 p/h

An SEN provision in Bolton is seeking a passionate Sports Graduate who can provide support for their young people, aged 11-19. The young people's needsvary and may include HI, VI, SpLD and ASC. Your working day will involve supporting pupils with their development of social and emotional skills through tailored sports sessions, encouraging their interaction and confidence building. Class sizes are generally small, with learning led by a teacher and supported by an appropriate number of teaching assistants reflecting the individual needs and abilities of the group. You may also be asked to support students on a 1:1 basis, alternating dependant on the needs of the pupils.

The school are open to various experience and try and recruit based on the unique skills a candidate can bring to the role giving their pupils exposure to new experiences. This doesn’t necessarily have to be in a school setting, the school have commented on being keen to meet potentially suitable educators with either relevant professional and/or personal experience, this can be from care, residential, youth work etc! The school have said they would ideally like to meet shortlisted educators w/c 4th September with the view to starting anytime from the w/c 6th November.
