SEN Teaching Assistant – Wythenshawe (M22)

Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Salary: Starting at £84+ per day (Weekly Pay via PAYE), on timesheets

Requirements: Registration with Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary SEN school in Wythenshawe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diverse Needs: Work with a diverse student population, including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), physical difficulties, language disorders, and General Developmental Delay (GDD).
  • Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs): Assist in the implementation of EHCPs to ensure the individual needs of each student are met.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of effective behaviour management strategies.

  • Training Advantageous: Team Teach and PECS training are advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
