Job description

This beautiful 1 form entry school in Portslade are looking to recruit an experienced specialist teaching assistant to work alongside a child within their Reception class. This child has Autism and very challenging behaviour. This role is full time starting after Easter and ending on the 19th July.

The Headteacher has requested that you need experience working with Autism and challenging behaviour. This child has a tendency to get up and walk out of the class as well so you need to be aware of this. You will be strictly working on a 1:1 basis and even support the pupil through break times and lunch. The child has a specific EHCP in place at the school. The school can pay between £54 - £60 per day depending on your experience.

The school is easily accessible via public transport and it is also free to park on the surrounding roads. You will be required to have a DBS on the update service. If you don't currently have one full assistance will be given to you when applying.
