Dyslexia Support Tutor - Haringey

As the leading education supply agency, Teaching Personnel recruit support staff for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2). We are currently in partnership with a number of schools in Haringey, situated around Tottenham, Crouch End, Wood Green, Seven Sisters, Hornsey and Muswell Hill to name a few. All schools are easily accessible via public transport (trains, tube, bus) and/or have a car park for those who drive.

Teaching Personnel are committed to helping these schools find the right SEN Teaching Assistants who specialise in Dyslexia. These roles vary from 3-5 days a week and involve providing support to pupils with SEN needs (particularly Dyslexia). 

A mainstream Primary School in Haringey are currently looking for a 1:1 Intervention TA who specialises in Dyslexia to start in September.

Dyslexia Support Tutor - Ideal candidate:

  • Ideally hold a Level 5 qualification or working towards one
  • Have experience working 1:1 and in small groups with Dyslexic children
  • Ideally have experience with Phonics Intervention
  • Ideally have experience with reading, writing and literacy
  • Liaise with Parents and SENCO on the child’s progress.
  • Need at least 6 months experience working with children within a Nursery or Primary School setting
