ARE YOU CONSIDERING A NEW ROLE AFTER THE EASTER HALF TERM? DO YOU HAVE SEN EXPERIENCE?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support within Special Educational Needs schools in Farnborough and the surrounding areas.

The SEN schools that we work with consist of small classes of between 6 - 10 pupils, along with a class Teacher and approximately 3 Teaching Assistants to support. Your role will be to assist the teacher with carrying out lesson plans according to the class curriculum. There will be group work as well as 1:1 sessions in order to provide a more focussed learning time.

There is a variety of needs within the SEN schools, which will include Autism, ADHD, Speech and language difficulties, PMLD and challenging behaviour.

As the successful applicant, you will need to:

- Have previous experience working within a special needs setting.

- Have obtained a minimum of GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English.

- Be able to support the class teacher with carrying out each pupil's individual learning plans.

- Be flexible working within a variety of situations and with the different ages and needs.

School hours are between 08:30 to 15:30 each day, and we are able to offer flexible working, should you only be available for part of the week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
